Wildlife

The wildlife pieces are created from a blend of techniques and intuition resulting in pieces that are meticulously crafted and emotionally resonant. The process involves felting techniques using wool, silk and plant fibres sculpted on a hand built wire armature from the inside out. A palette of blended fibres is used to create color and texture.  By combining natural fibres and found objects, images are brought to life.
